It has been an eventful journey for eighteen year old Sandhya from the first time her movie Kadhal released. She was cast opposite to actor Bharath in the movie and Kadhal turned out to be the turning point for both the actors. Sandhya won the best Filmfare South actress of 2004 for this movie.From then on it has been a upward journey for the young actress. She will be next seen in Thoondil and Manjal Veyil. Sandhya has also ventured into playback singing for her new Tamil film Manjal Veiyil
The latest is that the actress has signed a movie with director P.Vasu’s son Sakthi called ‘Magesh, Saranya Matrum Palar’. The movie ‘Magesh Saranya Matrum Palar’ will be directed by Ravi an ex-assistant of Lingusamy. The movie ‘Magesh, Saranya, Matrum Palar’ is a action based love story. Music will be by Vidyasagar. The production of this ‘Magesh, Saranya, Matrum Palar’ movie is by Kool productions which recently released the movie Pidichirukku.
Sandhya’s stress for choosing roles with strong character will take her a long way up in kollywood. She is already all the way on the top for a actress of such young age.
