Sneha replaces Kajal
Sneha has replaced Kajal in Silambarasan’s upcomming movie Silambattam. Cinematographer turned director Saravanan is directing this film. Yuvan Shankar Raja, the favorite music director of Silambarasan, has been roped in for the film ‘Silambattam’. Cinematography is by R. Madhi.
It is said that Kajal who was originally signed for Silambattam could not adjust her dates for the movie along with her Telugu movie assignments. Hence Sneha has been roped in. It is said that the story of Silambattam impressed Sneha and hence she accepted to act in ‘Silambattam’. It can be recalled that Sneha was supposed to act with Simbu in Kalai but could not because of call sheet problems.
Silambattam will have two heroines Sana Khan and Sneha. The backdrop of Silambaattam will be both village and city. The movie will have John Vijay (Oram Po fame) playing the villain. There is going to be a remix number from “Thiruvilayadal” in the movie.
In the movie Simbu portrays a character of a innocent poojari who takes law into his hands due to certain circumstances that happen in his life.
